Programme Manager

The WPB Fix IT team is made up of a combination of Pm, BA’s and CI leads. It is a change area working on high and critical Data issues for the bank’s regulators. They Investigate and identify the route course issues then create and implement solutions. The team covers all global regions.

In this fantastic role, you will lead change initiation, design and delivery and will be ultimately accountable for successful delivery of the WPB Fix IT Programme of work. You will have experience in Programme and Project Management and be confident in guiding others.  You will typically lead programmes of significant complexity or large individual projects across the Data landscape. When required, you will also Project lead specific initiatives within the Programme scope to delivery.

In this role you will:

  • Influence strategy and shape the programme approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments, and changes.
  • Drive programme delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget, and risks.
  • Establish effective programme controls and procedures and lead definition of staffing, responsibilities, and schedules.
  • Report progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to steering committees and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation.
  • Set high expectations concerning quality and put in place quality assurance processes.
Requisitos

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven and progressive programme or project management experience within a Data space
  • Background experience within WPB Business and operations, understanding of Risk and Finance Data landscape is essential.
  • Previous experience of leading large-scale transformation
  • Experience of using Clarity, CA Workbench, SharePoint (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels and ability to build consensus among a wide range of stakeholders with conflicting priorities.

This role is based in Birmingham or London.
