Operations Shared Services (OSS) drives operations' performance standards, service excellence, and consistency across the Group and our Global Service Centres (GSCs). This central team oversees areas such as business intelligence, cost management, reporting, billing and regulatory compliance. In addition, through its GSC Capabilities team, they are responsible for enterprise-wide workforce management, location strategy, future skills, and group common services (AI, automation, and other strategic initiatives).

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Protective Security Manager (Access).

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Lead the Access Management Team in Hong Kong (1 reports and several contractors)
  • Act as the delegated local control owner for the bank’s Access Management Control
  • Manage the delivery of the following services for Hong Kong and other Asia Pacific markets as required:
    • Access management including access provisioning, changes and recertification
    • Identification card and credential production and administration. Access control administration, configuration and first line support
    • Fulfilment of security data requests (access, alarms, video, etc). Team performance and risk management reporting
  • Act as, or support, the Third-Party Engagement Manager (TPEM) for any outsourced services and suppliers, including procurement, contracted
  • performance monitoring and third-party risk management
  • Identify, assess and remediate access and other security related risks and controls to support Protective Security objectives. Develop and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage change including documenting processes, procedures and communicating change. Develop and maintain internal and external relationships required to support this function. Provide support to other PS teams, sites and incidents as required
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Relevant experience working in a service, operations or support role
  • Security experience or education an advantage. Experience in working with and influencing stakeholders to achieve objectives
  • Knowledge in areas such as physical security, technology administration or support, service delivery, operations, data analysis and management, automation and/or project management
  • Ability to lead people in a service/operational environment. Ability to communicate and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, customers and agencies at senior and working levels. Experience managing third party services and suppliers
  • Sound judgement and ability to provide advice and make decisions under pressure and consistent with established policy, procedures and the local risk context
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with high ethical standards. Ability to identify gaps or inefficiencies and then deliver
  • improvement actions at pace through process, technology or people change
  • Good English language skills both written and verbal. Cantonese language skills would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly pick up other technology platforms
