The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a senior experienced professional to join our team as a Global Deployment Manager.
The role is responsible for implementing business initiatives in countries, this include completing GTS strategic platform (HTS) implementing in major markets i.e. Mexico, China, and Saudi Arabia; demise of legacy systems; many other business strategic initiatives.
In this role you will be able to engage with senior stakeholders in countries and global functions such as Finance, Payment, and Risk.
What you’ll do:
- This is a leadership and transformation role for owning and driving the implementation end-to-end successfully and smoothly in country.
- Work closely with business, internal technical teams, and external (downstream and upstream) technical teams to define roadmaps and resolve any challenges.
- Good understanding of business and business benefits to drive desired business outcomes.
- Decent engineering experience / knowledge to work with architects and engineering teams in resolving design or delivery issues.
- Knowledge of HSBC ecosystem (i.e. HUB), and global functions such as Finance and Payment would ease transition and success in this role.
- Good project disciple in managing governance, financial, risks and issues.
- Mature and self-driven, continuously seek for optimization and challenge status quo.
- Strong record of project delivery, having managed multiple end-to-end projects of varying size and complexity. Experience in working with difference regions and countries is preferred.
- Strong experience in developing project schedules and working with senior stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for business users and IT members.
- Desire to work in fast-paced, multi-task, fluid environment capable of reacting instantly to changes in a competitive business environment. Sharp problem-solving, analytical and innovation skills.
