We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Comms Lead, FS&GEC & R&C.

The role of HSBC’s Communications Businesses and Markets team is to protect and strengthen the bank’s reputation through communications strategies that help advance our customers’ goals and our own.

In this role you will:

•    Develop a strategic communications approach for audiences within FS&GEC and R&C to ensure alignment to strategy and key priorities, and increases engagement and connectivity between colleagues and leaders.
•    Develop and manage a runway of tactical interventions for FS&GEC and R&C using an effective cross-function approach that considers the right cadence, content and channels and supports a better Employee Dialogue.
•    Develop strategic content, narratives, stories and assets that helps FS&GEC and R&C leaders communicate.
•    Support Director of Communications, FS&GEC and R&C in providing strategic communications guidance to the FS&GEC and R&C leadership teams.
•    Support Director of Communication on approved external communications activity relating to social media for FS&GEC and R&C leadership, working alongside Group External Communications where relevant.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders' needs and requirements, guiding and influencing them to adopt the most optimal communication strategies.
•    Experience of developing content and channel strategies to drive alignment to strategy and engagement between colleagues and leaders.
•    Strong team player and network builder across a complex organisation and different geographies.
•    A creative mind-set with strong technical communication skills.
•    Experience of building and leading high-performing teams across a range of seniorities.
