Channels Value Stream is responsible for the delivery of business outcomes for staff facing services across iWPB for our Branch, Contact Centre and Operations colleagues globally. The Value Stream is also responsible for the provision of Customer facing services in the form Mobile Chat and the Voice Chat, etc.
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist, Staff Channels and Self Service Platform, Enabler Platforms.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React and related front-end technologies
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality user experiences
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility
- Integrate RESTful APIs and work with backend services built on Node.js
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and ensure best practices in front-end development
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using AWS, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
- Write and maintain technical documentation for developed features and processes
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven hands-on experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong understanding of front-end build tools and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with Node.js and integrating front-end with backend APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins)
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices for front-end testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve skills
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Experience with TypeScript for type-safe JavaScript development
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Zustand
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques
- Experience with server-side rendering frameworks (e.g., Next.js)
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library)
- Familiarity with GraphQL and API design
- Knowledge of security best practices in web development
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry)
- UI/UX design skills or experience working closely with designers
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Familiarity with mobile web development or React Native
