The Opportunity:
- To ensure the efficiency and quality of deliverables for HSBCNet payment mainframe systems.
- Continuously upgrading and learning various technologies / applications required for successful project delivery through continuous learning and training
- Shouldering responsibility diligently and delivering quality output within the defined schedule and service levels
- Constantly work towards improving individual technical / application knowledge capabilities
- Continuously validate that projects are following the coding and design standards and guidelines
What you’ll do:
- Analysis, Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business requirements
- Conduct system test, support user acceptance test and provide support on system implementation.
- Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices
- Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed
- Provide knowledge transfer and basic guidance to junior teammates
- Work closely with global and regional stakeholders on projects delivery
- Maintain effective and good relationship with other stakeholders
- Computer/Software Engineering bachelor degree
- 10+ years' experience on Mainframe developing
- Experience on Mainframe development in RDz / RTC
- Experience on COBOL, CICS, JCL, MQ
- Experience on DB2, SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design, development and support
- Good understanding on SDLC, Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Good leadership
- Fluent oral English and good written English, able to communicate efficiently with global team
- A highly-motivated individual with positive and pro-active attitude.
- Be able to work under pressure to complete project in tight schedule and cost effective way
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Fluent communication skills in spoken and listen English to communicate with UK and IN people
- Convincing capability to cooperate with different roles in global locations
- Be aggressive
