The core responsibility of MPF process is organise, lead and motivate the staff in Pensions Operations to provide best in class service/support to HSBC group Pensions Premium Account customers and comply with HK MPFA policy.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Officer, Data & Analytics.

 

The Opportunity:  

The role of an expert on a specific process, some of which may be a key member/initiative to facilitate operational activities including support the team in monitoring business performance by generating and publishing various MI reports, develop and delivery key MI reports, monthly operational dashboard, complaint MI.

      

What you’ll do:     

  • Support the team in monitoring business performance by generating and publishing various MI reports, flagging deviations and/ or inconsistency for managerial attention.
  • Work closely with operational and business teams both in China and Hong Kong to develop and delivery key MI reports that aide oversight and decision making. Reports include, but not limited to Monthly Operational dashboards, Complaints MI, Quality Assurance dashboards, scorecards, etc.
  • Work in tandem with the business management teams in ensuring timeliness and quality of submissions to Sponsors, Trustees and regulators, are in line with expectations. Look to develop ways to reduce effort in generation of these reports.
  • Enhance ways of working by understanding the reporting needs of the department and work actively with onshore and offshore Pension Admin teams in development, deployment and streamlining of MI reporting.
  • Support to transform the business requirements into programs and processes to deliver high quality information deliverables (example: analysis, management information reporting, data extracts, etc.) in both a regularly and ad hoc fashion.
Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:       

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of MS Office tools especially MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience in business analysis, data analysis and/ or data management is preferred.
  • Experience in project coordination with different stakeholders is preferred.
