The role holder is responsible for Business Regulatory Compliance and Data Management. You will ensure compliance, monitor performance, enhance efficiencies, and drive impactful changes in those pillars. As a senior member of the team, you will guide senior business stakeholders in the delivery of standards in your pillars, provide training, as well as will act as a key country representative in relevant regional forums. Also, ensuring that the services are provided in line with the relevant HSBC Group standards, regulations, and risk management.
In this role you will:
- Business Regulatory Compliance: Ensure Regulatory Compliance implementations and procedures are in line with Group strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Lead implementation of Regulatory projects. Attend Regulatory Oversight Forum and submit regulatory investment request on country behalf.
- Oversee existing and implement new regulatory reporting obligations. Act as Entity Inventory Admin in the Regulatory Reporting Inventory System (RRIS).
- Ensure business compliance with Group’s Conduct principles and outcomes and monitor Conduct MI, with the focus on Complaints handling, Information controls (MNPI) and Conflict of Interest.
- Lead the Product Governance and Pricing Reviews for the branch with the oversight and support of the central teams.
- Support completion of the annual CEO Attestation.
- Data Management: Oversee data quality in the Core Banking System and downstream systems, including local CRM tool (CME) and revenue reporting tool (Omnia), advise on the maintenance of data elements in those systems.
- Support Senior Management with the revenue reporting.
You should apply if you have:

- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
- Engage and maintain relationships across various departments and cultures.
- Experience in banking sector will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, Conduct (incl. Complaints handling, Information controls and Conflict of Interest), Product Governance, Data Management, and Revenue Reporting tool (Omnia) will be an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
