We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Internal Communications Manager.
The role of HSBC’s Communications Businesses and Markets team is to protect and strengthen the bank’s reputation through communications strategies that help advance our customers’ goals and our own.

In this role you will:
• Promote Private Banking and Wealth and Premier Solutions among colleagues globally and support strategic communications initiatives around the world.
• Keep colleagues informed and motivated by sharing clear, engaging updates about developments in the businesses and celebrating colleagues’ achievements.
• Help leaders communicate effectively, equipping them with straightforward messages that cut through complexity.
• Develop and curate a library of messaging assets – from Q&A documents and case studies to imagery and other digital materials.
• Identify and manage reputational risks, working closely with teams across markets.
• Track, analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of your communications activity to inform future campaigns.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Experience of internal communications for a global business, with a strong track record in delivering effective campaigns through multiple channels.
• First-rate writing and editorial skills, developed in journalism or communications.
• Proven ability to plan and execute communications strategies, including the use of grids and calendars to manage complex activity.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with confidence working across time zones and with senior leaders.
• A cool head under pressure, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
