As our Senior Lead, Data Center Service Resilience Risk and Control you will:

  • Manage audit and regulatory examinations that pertain to US Data Center Service Resilience (DCSR) to include global, Business Continuity, 3rd Party Risk, and Cyber  exams
  • Support management of IT Service compliance with controls and Data Center Loss Recovery controls as required  
  • Support and engage with Senior Management throughout the organization to maintain compliance level support, processes and escalations
  • Support engagement with Global Service Resilience peers to develop global synergies, achievable standards and drive global approved process improvements to implementation
  • Support and provide guidance, training and directions where able to for US Service Resilience requirements to key stakeholders
  • Support, liaise and coordinate audit and regulatory responses with local US Regulatory Liaison Office (RLO), and other Risk domains as needed
  • Provide consultancy to Global Business / Global Function, IT Service Owners, Business Continuity, 3rd Party Risk, and other relevant stakeholders on regulatory and compliance matters pertaining to DCSR
  • Manage US DCSR Control taxonomy, including all Service Resilience Compliance Controls and metrics including review and publication of monthly, quarterly reporting stats as required
  • Track mitigation actions on all control and audit issues to ensure timely remediation
  • Perform US Vendor Disaster Recovery Risk Assessments as part of US Business Continuity 3rd Party Risk requirements
  • Work with US DCSR Regional Management and global DCSR, updating/maintaining/monitoring the use of the development / implementation of policies, standard operating procedures and strategy for the US
  • Be an agent for change of the processes and technology involved in DCSR across US
  • Act as back up to US Head of Service Resilience when required

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $131,900 and $185,000.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requisitos

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Maintain Steward attention on all Resilience Risks with a primary focus on Payments and Transaction Processing
  • Maintain excellent communication and influencing skills and Ability  to engage with all levels of the organization in professional, precise, clear style
  • Maintain a progressive leadership style that can work across a global matrix organization
  • Have good knowledge of Risk Management frameworks, with a focus on Non-Financial Risk Management
  • Consistently and eagerly work on enhancing and upgrading his/her skills leveraging internal and external sources
  • Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and work ethic and works well in the teamwork environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrates an innovative and proactive approach to building new and advanced MI and reporting analytics
  • Experience across Information Technology and Data Center Service Support and Recovery along with management experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience at a minimum; graduate degree is a plus
