- GPB CAO/COO Cost Transformation Execution Team is responsible for end-to-end Direct Cost and FTE Governance globally. In that context the Team is responsible for GPB’s overall Management Reporting with an increased focus on Cost, FTE, Hiring, and Third-party management.
The Opportunity:
- The purpose of the Cost Transformation Execution – CTA Tracking & Reporting role is a fixed tenure role for c.18 months to provide expert support and assistance in providing end to end tracking of the CTA submissions, collaborating with the regional and functional COO, and report and present them on various fora. The role will be quite dynamic and will require the candidate to be able to have strong governance around the CTA Tracker, ensuring high level of accuracy and control over the changes. The incumbent must be able to appreciate the risks arising on account of undue changes or inaccurate submissions from the stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Role Purpose
- This role holder is responsible for providing CTA strategic finance focused support to CAO/COO, ensuring strong governance around CTA Tracking, consistency and adoption of policies, processes, and reporting across all investment financial reporting for GPB.
- The role includes liaison with and direction of Programme Lead and Sponsors of GPB CTA and creation of information for use at Executive Management forums, including Stakeholder Management in GPB. Specifically covering the following aspects:
- Tracking and reporting of CTA Investments spend within GPB. Ensuring timely accrual of relevant Severance Costs though collaboration with Finance teams.
- Tracking and reporting of CTA Benefits with GPB
- Project Management of ad-hoc assignments.
- Implement framework for Costs/Benefits forecasting, tracking and realization, including verification of Actual and Forecasts to maintain accuracy / alignment of core data and sensitivity analysis of forecasts (in liaison with business teams.
- Development of insightful and forward-looking Management Information, including presentation to the business of summary changes to the business case base on reforecasts, with commentary on risks/opportunities based on knowledge of underlying models.
Key Accountabilities
- Support performance management to the AOP, reporting key variances, risks and opportunities.
- Driving efficiency throughout GPB supporting achievement of annual benefit & investment plan
- Ensure relevant reported numbers are reviewed, challenged and managed efficiently
- Ensuring Global savings & control initiatives are well communicated and coordinated with the regional finance teams

Customers / Stakeholders
- Interface with GPB Regional leads to drive reporting updates and delivery to plan. Liaise with key stakeholders to report and provide commentary and insight on financial results and key operational drivers
- Build relationship with regional finance teams to drive execution and planned delivery globally
- Key contact with multiple investment stakeholders, tracking and monitoring spend, delivery and benefits

What you will need to succeed in the role:
- 10+ years experience in business performance, cost management, financial analysis, trend analysis and quantitative analysis in a strategy consulting firm or leading global/regional financial institution.
- Prior experience in CTA Reporting would have material advantage
- Proven track record on problem solving skills and navigation within complex networks.
- Sharp business and commercial acumen, management of financials, ability to make and influence strategic decision
- Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills are a must. Knowledge of basic automation skills major benefit
- Effective strategic thinking and problem solving ability (critical analytical thinking)
- Ability to deliver senior management-ready, high quality materials
- Ability to identify, manage and mitigate risk effectively
- Results-oriented; ability to deliver within deadlines by working independently and able to work in a small team with a flat structure
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) as well as energetic, positive attitude and a team player.

- The role holder will communicate regularly with global and Regional teams.
- Role holder needs to ensure processes implemented are robust, transparent and fit for purpose will be crucial in enabling the success of the team
- Continual development is required by the role holders in understanding of a complex global business and changing regulatory environment
- Continual need to improve in-depth understanding of operational process/procedures and systems needed to support GPB’s complex product and service offering.
