Within Wealth and Personal Banking, the Consumer Assets team is responsible for improving portfolio profitability and achieving growth objectives for all lending products in Asia-Pacific, including credit cards, personal loans, overdrafts and mortgages. Operating in several strategic markets across the region, the division is a key contributor to the profitability of the HSBC private wealth business.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Propositions Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to launching proposition initiatives and implementing business strategies in Premier and Premier Elite segment in alignment with Group directives to achieve the targets
  • Drive the development of Premier and Premier Elite in establishing HSBC as the leading and preferred premium bank for up segment based on key customer insights and trends
  • Support the delivery of transformation goals, objectives, and priorities in line with Propositions and business strategy and direction
  • Implement digital experience plan in line with Propositions and business strategy, and manage the delivery of selected product and service journeys and related initiatives within agreed timeline and budget, working with different Business, Direct, Digital, and Functional stakeholders
  • Own and execute the Premier and Premier Elite Proposition strategy development by driving key enhancement projects and influencing partners across products, digital, channels, sales, marketing, and others
  • Develop plan and implement business strategies to achieve portfolio growth in terms of customer number or income and improve customer experience
  • Develop analysis and technical reviews of Premier and Premier Elite portfolio and provide insights on performance, utilize insights to develop new programs to achieve business objectives on proposition differentiation, growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Improve customer experience through revamp of onboarding and customer engagement journeys through process improvement, service enhancements, digitization and automation initiatives
  • Support the development of International Premier business and collaboration initiatives in alignment with Group and Country strategic directives
  • Develop and track annual plans in relation to Premier and Premier Elite portfolio performance
  • Support special projects in relation to Premier and Premier Elite proposition enhancement
  • Execute Global Standard, control initiatives to ensure adherence to guidelines
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including Group Premier and Premier Elite, Retail Distribution, Channel, Product teams, Marketing, Business Transformation, Compliance and Legal, etc. to facilitate development and implementation of initiatives and projects
  • Deep understanding of the local market and competitive landscape
  • Effectively train, motivate, and develop junior managers within the team, where applicable
Requisitos
  • Bachelor’s degree with business studies related discipline and working experience preferably in Retail Banking, Wealth and Insurance product management with top and bottom line responsibilities
  • Advance degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
  • Proven experience in retail banking (as well as previous experience in leadership/management roles) with well understanding on the product, sales and/or marketing
  • Possess understanding of integrated accounts and overall banking products
  • Familiar with sales and distribution framework and able to keep in pace with the ever-changing market conditions
  • Can work independently and proactively
  • Strong project management skills in developing and implementing initiatives and ability in timely and effective problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent people management skill, confident to lead the team and influence the others
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical skills
