International Customer Onboarding (ICO) is the engine powering the International customer growth. It is a capability for customers to open accounts cross border (i.e. pre-departure) and aims to revolutionize the ICO capability to make it simpler, more accessible, painless and instantaneous. We are now looking for Engineer role for API delivery for above business vision.
The Opportunity:
The Senior software engineer, Development role takes responsibility for delivery of ICO and Employer Workplace Solution. The job holder contributes in successful delivery of projects and collaborate with multiple development Pods. The responsibilities entail areas such as requirement analysis, design and development (coding) and technology sharing. The Senior software engineer should be aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory, architecture standards and operational risk.
What you’ll do:
Analysis, Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business requirements
Conduct system test, user acceptance test and provide support on system implementation
Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices
Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed
Reduce technical risk / debt in solution proposal, system design and implementation
Provide technical and domain consultancy and support for International services
Work closely with global and regional stakeholders on projects delivery
Requisitos
At least 3 years of IT development experience.
Solid knowledge and experience in Java, Springboot, REST API, Javascript, SQL, etc.
Banking IT experience is an advantage
Experience with International product is an advantage
Fluent English speaking and professional business writing skills
Good understanding and experience on SDLC, Agile and DevOps
Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
Able to adapt in global team culture and communication in different locations
