Staff channels and self-service are key platforms of channels delivery value stream enabler under WPB, It will provide the necessary platform transformation from which to drive sustainable returns and realize the goal of becoming the new way in which our staff can service our customers.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Staff Channels, iWPB team. This team delivers MyWorkspace and MyTablet solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves working closely with stakeholders across IT and business functions.
What you’ll do:
Work as part of the Global Engineering team, responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of the productes.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Operations teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions for customers.
Ensure technical designs and code are coherent, maintainable, and compliant with industry standards and security best practices.
Participate in proof-of-concept projects for new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Document system architecture, configuration, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Knowledge of React 18 or above knowledge is essential.
Knowledge of Java8+ (Java17+ preferable).
Understanding of RESTful microservices and APIs as a plus.
Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot desirable is as a plus.
Working experience with database technologies and SQL as a plus.
Experience working in a DevOps delivery team as a plus.
Good command of written and spoken English; Mandarin as a plus.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and support activities outside regular business hours as needed.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
