We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Supplier Manager (Workplace Experience & Operations).


Role Purpose


To provide strategic financial and commercial leadership across HSBC Real Estate Services (RES), ensuring supplier costs are optimised, contractually compliant, and aligned with budgetary and operational objectives. The role drives value creation through robust cost management, governance, and supplier performance oversight across a global portfolio.

In this role you will:


•    Develop and implement global frameworks for supplier cost control, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
•    Oversee ~$250m global operational and capital expenditure (OpEx/CapEx), ensuring adherence to contractual Description of Services (DoS) and financial governance.
•    Review and approve the financial impact of Change Control Notices (CCNs).
•    Analyse suppliers spend, reconcile invoices with Purchase Orders, and manage cost variances.
•    Lead financial risk identification and mitigation across supplier networks.
•    Partner with Procurement, Finance, and RES leadership to drive commercial efficiency and alignment.
•    Deliver financial insights and reporting for governance forums and senior leadership.


 

Requisitos

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 


Technical Skills:

 

•    Strong understanding of core Facilities Management (FM) services and associated risk management.
•    Expertise in Workplace Experience & Operations (WE&O), Hospitality and Catering services.
•    Strategic supplier relationship management and third-party governance.
•    Proficiency in contractual governance, supplier performance management, and FM incident management.
•    Financial oversight including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
•    Ability to conduct market analysis and benchmarking to drive cost efficiency and supplier optimisation.
•    Awareness of market trends and emerging risks impacting WE&O and Hospitality/Catering services.

This role is based in Birmingham or Sheffield and the successful candidates will be expected to work a Hybrid week.
