We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President.

Principal Responsibilities

  • The role holder will form an integral part of the Wholesale Client coverage team in Hong Kong. This role holder will primarily responsible for managing our private banks relationship in Hong Kong as well as the cross-border distribution in Mainland China
  • Establishing new business relationships with distributors and strengthening existing ones
  • Proactively identifying sales opportunities and developing these opportunities; communicating new products, propositions, and relevant market information to distributors
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include investment, marketing and product development teams, to drive business development  
  • Ensuring intermediary as well as end client related requests and enquiries are handled with high quality and within defined deadlines
  • Ensure regular Know Your Distributor (KYD) being performed and to update/provide documentation on all the KYD related requirements
  • Manage the Request for Information and Request for Proposal process triggered by clients
Requisitos
  • University Degree educated in Finance or related discipline
  • 8-10 years of industry experience with solid business development experience growing wholesale distribution, especially with experience of covering private banks in HK and cross-border China distribution
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective sales process; can handle client relationship independently
  • Willing to travel to Mainland China for business development
  • Good understanding of investment products, capabilities, and operations
  • People person and as a team player who is able to develop relationships at multiple levels
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
