We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Vice President Resilience.
This role is responsible for the identification of emerging risks and ensuring they can be as far as possible mitigated by the flexibility of our business continuity planning, both for current incidents but also on a strategic basis in the years ahead. The job-holder must understand concepts of risk management and adopt a process of continuous improvement. must balance business benefits, technologies, operation efficiency versus their risks and cost of mitigation, thus us enabling business to make to informed decision on operating resiliency
Additionally, the role requires the job holder to have strong verbal and written communication skills; in order to ensure that risk awareness deeply permeates within HBID. Finally, the role requires the job holder to competently manage incidents and crisis, by communicating timely with all related stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation HBID risk management framework and regulatory requirements focusing on Business Continuity and Operational Resilience, the jobholder has the authority to drive implementation of business continuity designs and controls..
- The importance of operational resilience cannot be overstated in these increasingly uncertain times. Floods, earthquakes, social unrests, terrorism, and bird flu are common flu-eats in Indonesia. This role is responsible for the identification of emerging risks and ensuring they can be as far as possible mitigated by the flexibility of our business continuity planning, both for current incidents but also on a strategic basis in the years ahead.
- Lead initiatives to address root causes of unexpected losses, developing innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness. Implement corrective measures to manage persistent operational risks, enhancing risk resilience
- Assist HBID Business Service Owners to implement group Operational Resilience program which may cover but not limited to mapping to identify IBS, prioritization, planning and remediation for High and Medium Vulnerabilities, establish ways of working of Operational resilience and transition to BAU, as well as implement service impact assessment and Business continuity planning to fully align business and technology continuity for processes for IBSs.
- Timely completion of Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) for HBID covering project management, tracking and reporting of progress, issues and achievements. Engaging and working with country assessment unit (AU), champions, IT, compliance, and other project teams.
- Providing strategic management and administrative support in the regulatory reporting remediation/submissions (e.g FATCA/CRS). Oversee regulatory reports concerns, assists discussion between report maker, stewards and report owners. Report should there is any report(s) issues or deficiencies occurred.
- The role holder needs to cultivate risk control and ownership disciplines within teams. S/he needs to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with various internal partners, teams and different departments towards common goals.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Indonesian Citizen Only
- Minimum Bachelors degree with at least 10 years’ experience in the Banking industry preferable with Risk Management skills, Business Continuity and understanding of banking regulations.
- Proven leadership quality, strong decision-making skills and track record of influencing executive stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of banking products and associated risks and processes.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environment and regulatory compliance risk.
- Ability to interpret and analyse a large volume of information and / or data and provide succinct summary for senior management.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, and confident in interaction with Regulators.
- Experience of creating, leading and motivating a team.
