Business Finance is a sub function of Group Finance. You will provide business unit financial analysis to drive business performance and support management decision-making. Responsibilities also include support to the other teams within Finance (Treasury and Product Control) including analysis to drive business/entity performance. Works with senior management and Finance partners to provide financial and technical analysis and recommendations regarding current and/or proposed product lines, pricing models and methodologies, business channels, business opportunities, and/or internal measurements and methodologies. Leads all reporting, planning and forecasting activities and a key point of contact for various stress testing cycles.

As our VP Business Finance Partner - Transaction Services and Markets Treasury you will:

  • Provide critical analysis and financial rigor of the actual and forecasted position of the business
    to support senior management decision making
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and prepare metrics on assigned business area to include product pricing, business lines, channels, customers, new business opportunities, forecasts, incentives, budgets, external forces and trends and/or cost-benefit analysis
  • Provide analytical support and reporting on market treasury activities including Funding, Liquidity, FTP and IC
  • Respond to requests and inquiries from senior management, business managers, product development and marketing to prepare analysis and metrics
  • Provide regular analysis and reports as well as analysis to support specific inquiries

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $148,000.00 and $220,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location

Requisitos

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, business management, related field or equivalent experience (MBA preferred); Minimum of ten years proven financial and/or business analysis experience, or equivalent
  • Financial modeling / analysis experience (managing large amounts of data to understand complex issues and effectively translate findings into clear and concise concepts for peers and management), project management capabilities demonstrating strong collaboration and relationship building, systems and reporting knowledge (familiarity with FTP, Clearview, TM1 global cubes, and Tableau preferred), strong interpersonal skills as well as presentation / communication skills
  • Knowledge of Transaction Services and Markets Treasury; Familiarity with US accounting rules, US regulations, IFRS, US GAAP, the US banking market, US economy and conditions
