CIB Banking Transformation & Performance is responsible for world-class strategic transformation of CIB Banking through smart execution. We are a team of ~500 globally and over 40 in Poland, driving design, business change, product ownership, simplification and automation across CIB Banking Value Streams (Client Onboarding and Servicing, Global Payments Solutions, Global Trade & Receivables Finance, Capital Markets, Sustainability, Platforms & Regulatory programmes).
Your career opportunity
The purpose of this role is to shape and execute against CIB Banking’ global strategic change agenda. Benefits Manager will act as a source of guidance, governance and metrics on global programmes/projects supporting the Programme Leadership for strategic decisions and the tracking of cost optimisation. The role holder has principal accountability of the cost oversight in carrying out project monitoring, governance and reporting activities. They will collaborate with CMB & GB Business to deliver Change the Bank (CTB) programmes to digitize products, propositions and internal processes.
Note this is a CTA funded role that is expected to run for the duration of the programme (Sep 2026).
What you’ll do
- Own Programme/ Project Costs and Benefits Tracking:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the programmes, helping to shape their approach and performing quality assurance on programme delivery
- Own calculation, tracking and validation of project benefits, ensuring assumptions, inputs and outputs are clearly documented and traceable
- Build and maintain benefits models in Excel to quantify savings, efficiencies, and impacts across initiatives.
- Develop clear and transparent reporting templates for leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor benefit realization throughout project lifecycle, highlighting variances and risks early.
- Ensure the integrity of all data used in benefit calculations – validate sources, reconcile inconsistencies, and maintain audit trails.
- Draw accurate conclusions from financial reports and makes insightful strategic financial decisions in planning and monitoring programme performance; Identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Track, review and controls programme/ project progress and performance ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, anticipating potential risks and issues, assisting with putting mitigating actions into place to prevent delivery stalling and escalating as appropriate
- Understand impact on scope, cost, time and defines mitigation and contingency plans
- Analyse management reports; provide recommendations to put the project/programme on track; share progress with stakeholders
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Stakeholders:
- Create and deliver impactful outputs/ reports for decision-making forums.
- Lead working group sessions or workshops to gather inputs and drive consensus.
- Build strong working relationships across operations, IT, and management teams to influence decisions and drive outcomes.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance, and operation teams to align on benefit definitions, baselines, tracking and execution.
What will help you to succeed in this role
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modelling.
- Relevant project benefits/ project management experience in high complexity and scope areas: Experience in implementation, change management, benefits realisation and financial impact tracking in transformation or operational projects.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and validation discipline.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Good communication skills to explain assumptions, logic, and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-started attitude – able to take partial information and build structured, defensible benefit models.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: Comfortable with managing senior stakeholders’ relationships.
