We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Regulatory Reporting
Principal responsibilities
Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of the capital & leverage returns primarily for HSBC BANK plc, and if needed for consolidated HSBC Holdings.
Reporting of the Leverage data and returns within scope of the regulatory reporting global process owner’s responsibility to the PRA.
Work with the HBEU Lead for Leverage reporting and with Group counterparts to align HSBC BANK plc with Group policies, procedures, and controls
Delivery of data and information for the reporting of the leverage Pillar 3 and related regulatory external disclosures included within the interim and annual reported accounts.
Reporting of applicable QIS, GSIB and other submissions.
Supporting the preparation of any responses to questions raised by the PRA.
Responsible for understanding and implementation of the regulation changes.
Evidencing the leverage requirements have been prepared and reported in line with the Control and Assurance Framework.
- Adherence to Group policies, Regulatory reporting requirements, audit, controls and compliance requirements.
A qualified professional (preferably CA or ICWA or MBA or CFA) with evidential post-qualification work experience
Proven experience in a role responsible for regulatory reporting to the PRA
Preferably having knowledge and experience in Basel III/CRDIV/CRR2 and PRA regulatory rules.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Personal presence and able to command respect at a senior level
Experience in a range of business and operational processes across the breadth of the financial services environment
Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks and apply appropriate controls
Experience delivering to internal stakeholders such as internal auditors; business functions; etc.
Commercially minded and ability to make decisions in a timely manner
