We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

 Advisor Asset Liability & Capital Management

Role purpose:

The jobholder is responsible for supporting Interest Rate Risk of the Banking Book for Mexico.

Main activities: 

  • Collaborate to ensure that the structural interest rate risk in the banking book is appropriately approved, valued, and controlled within approved limits.
  • Ensure the correct execution and distribution of all reports implemented by ALCM for the assessment of interest rate risk in the banking book and the completeness of the Risk Buy-in process.
  • Estimation of Liquidity Premium and Liquidity Recharge distribution along the business lines.
  • Estimation of break funding cost across all products
  • Ensure compliance with Group’s policies and procedures for Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB)
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Requirements
  • University degree in financial or quantitative discipline.
  • Knowledge of Basel standards for IRRBB.
  • Experience at database and data quality controls
