Role purpose

Role holders will carry out activities that will include most of the following:

  • Co-ordinate and manage projects; typically working on smaller projects/assignments
  • Assist in delivery of larger projects
  • Implement company policy and contribute to the attainment of functional results
  • Ensure the quality of tasks/services provided by colleagues, involving regular process checks or review of output by a co-worker and/or supervisor
  • Provide advice and assistance through application of acquired knowledge
  • Identify and escalate issues
  • Communicate technical/sensitive information
  • Co-ordinate and oversee work for a small team to meet agreed deadlines
  • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures in own team
  • Support change initiatives and escalate any concerns

Main activities

  • Responsible for Analytical control framework
  • Support business areas assisting and directing the actions of portfolio regarding the management and use of statistical tools.
  • Maintain good relations with internal customers through an effective service and communication, build connections, be externally focused and collaborate across boundaries.
  • Responsible to meet agreed deadlines
  • Responsible to provide advice and assistance Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)
  • Responsible to provide advice and assistance through application of acquired knowledge to the team
  • Responsible to communicate technical information to Senior Management
  • Responsible to identify and escalate issues / concerns
  • Be prepared and open to work with innovative tools such as Cloud, different programming languages, etc.
  • Responsible to advise on change activities which involve data sources, affect data processes or impact data service provision.
  • Responsible to succed with the implementation of risk processes in business unit.
  • Operate efficiently and effectively processes related to data preparation and manipulation, model development and report generation aiming to facilitate the outputs interpretation.
  • Development of innovative analytical solutions to improve model governance, reporting and customer risk management.
    Requirements
    • Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or equivalent academic background.
    • Intermediate- Advance English
    • High Analytical skills including data exploration, data mining, computer programming and statistical model development methods.
    • Analytical skills and decision-making abilities.
    • Planning, organisation skills, negotiation skills, ability to influence people and effective communication.
    • Accountability and compromise with target dates.
    • Previous experience in audit review projects is preferred.
    • Previous experience in Risk and/or Governance related matters is preferred.
    • Business skills with understanding of lending products from marketing, pricing and policy perspective and correlation with risk strategies definition is preferred.
    • Prior experience using SAS Base, Python is preferred.
    • Prior experience using visual analytic tools such as Power BI, Qliksense, SAS Visual Analytics is preferred.
