We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Architecture Manager.
Business:Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities 
Ability to create clear, concise proposals for solutions and brokering agreement across multiple stakeholders. Strong experience of working with senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines; business analysts, product owners, testing teams and wider technical stakeholders
Strategy definition of our target state enterprise level foundational platforms
Provide architectural leadership for services/solutions across Insurance service domains
Define and align a vision, but with the ability to deliver incrementally and provide immediate value to the stakeholders
Work with the wider HSBC organization to drive Insurance specific priorities for solutions that we should leverage from group or WPB levels
Define and maintain architecture and technology roadmaps on enterprise level across markets
Design scalable, secure and resilient solutions/platforms utilizing modern technology stacks
Provide detailed design guidance to senior lead solution architects to make sure their technical designs are sound & can meet business capability & service resilience needs
Ability to understand and further explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders & senior engineers
 

Requirements

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
•    At least 10+ years of relevant technical experience.
•    Experience of working in a large & complex corporate environment.
•    Sound knowledge of artificial intelligence
•    Experience in an enterprise environment including an understanding of traditional & modern processes and procedures and how they may impact a digital transformation.
•    Have an in-depth functional and non-functional knowledge of cloud platforms & native services, specifically AWS or GCP
•    Understanding of modern development and associated tooling, integration, technology, patterns and practices to design, build and continuously improve an automated end-to-end factory for software delivery, through the route-to-live and into production. 
•    Experience of CI/CD pipelines, modern deployment and release methodologies including automated configuration and provisioning at scale
•    Familiarity with microservice architectures
•    In depth knowledge of container-based services, such as Docker and Kubernetes
•    Working level knowledge of modern technology stacks across front-end & back-end 
•    University degree in a technical discipline
•    Relevant industry certifications
•    Sound knowledge on modern technology stacks (e.g. AI)
•    The success of the technology platform enablement programs will be determined not only by delivery but also the way in which the team delivers.  Evidence of the following attributes is therefore key:-
