We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Trading Support

Principal responsibilities

• Enhance and adapt Excel spreadsheets to interface with the new risk platform.
• Review and improve existing Front Office tools, including pricers and blotters.
• Develop and maintain Excel VBA-based tools for pricing, risk visualization, and booking.
• Collaborate with traders to translate requirements into functional tools.
• Perform business analysis and provide light support for desk tools.
• Work on visualization of risk, Foreign Exchange (FX) exposure, trade booking, market data management, and controls.
• Lead and mentor a small team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Set clear goals, provide constructive feedback, and ensure team alignment with project objectives.
• Act as a bridge between the desk and the development team, ensuring effective communication and delivery of solutions.
• Inspire confidence and motivate the team to achieve high performance under tight deadlines.

• VBA Development: Strong proficiency in Excel VBA, with experience in on-desk coding.
• SQL: Intermediate-level knowledge for database interactions.
• General IT Knowledge: Familiarity with JSON manipulation and API integration using VBA.
• Leadership and People Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team, with strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of derivatives, risk, and PnL domains.
• Knowledge of LATAM markets and related financial instruments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with traders, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Visionary leadership qualities to guide the team toward achieving shared objectives.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to deliver practical and innovative solutions.
• Resilient and composed under pressure, with a focus on driving results and maintaining team morale.
