We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management Specialist
Business: Finance and Traded Risk Tech
Principal responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for Agile and DevOps standards, processes and practices in Traded Risk Technology
- Overall responsibility for all Agile and DevOps Agile improvement initiatives across Traded Risk
- Working in collaboration with the Finance and Traded Risk (FTR) Transformation Lead to further develop and implement our transformation strategy
- Increase Agile awareness and best practices across IT, Change/Transformation and Business Teams
- Providing Agile consultancy to Pod’s to refine existing Agile practices and to improve quality and volume of delivery
- Bringing consistency of business engagement across the Asset Class with respect to Agile adoption
- Optimising the number of Agile-DevOps roles in the department
- Accelerating the automation of IT processes to improve quality and to reduce the cost of delivery and maintenance
- Influencing and driving the transformation agenda across our wider organization
- A deep understanding of Agile and DevOps working practices and their application
- A track record in delivering transformational change in an organisation
- Leadership skills combined with technical expertise
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Knowledge of relevant metrics for tracking progress and experience with tools that support agile workflows
- The ability to coach and mentor teams and individuals
- Technology delivery experience as a Test Analyst, Business Analyst or a developer
