We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist. 

Business: Core Banking IWPB

Principal responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessment and related testing activities while identifying and resolving all potential risks and issues, provide effective mitigation and contingency plan.
  • Prepare, review Test Strategy and Test Plan, and propose performance testing approach within project timeline.
  • Manage for testing scope definition, testing schedule, work assignment and effort estimates.
  • Communicate with the relevant stake holder regarding resolving issues related to delivery of projects.
  • Working in a global team with different cultures.
    Requirements
    • A minimum of 12 years' IT software testing experiences.
    • Strong test automation project management skills.  Experience in managing automation project with cross location teams.
    • Good understanding of autoamtion value.  Could present the value of automation to business, gain business customers partner buy-in.
    • Well understand the DevOps and CI/CD concept and how to apply automation in CI/CD pipeline. 
    • Good understand on automation process and how to fit automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
    • Could drive Test Automation project implementation.  Lead and develop the test automation team members. 
    • Familiar to popular testing tools, e.g. xFramework, CA TDM.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
    • Effective communication skills in spoken and written English.
    • Have good understanding of the test process and testing knowledge.
    • Equipped with strong domain knowledge on banking system as well as related channels or applications.
    • Good planning skills and quick response for the changes.
    • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
