We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Take leadership in operational activities related to the mobile app release cycle, ensuring efficient management of prod incident such as app crashes.
- Team Collaboration & Support: Work closely with VS teams, mobile development teams to ensure operational alignment, proactively solve issues no matter which team is the owner of the problem.
- Key factor Measurements: Define key metrics measurements. Utilize advanced monitoring tools to oversee operational performance metrics. This will ensure that we are always on the right track, solving the right problems and have clear goals for the team.
- Change Management: Oversee the change control process, ensuring that all changes are assessed for risk, approved, and implemented with minimal disruption to services.
- Incident Management: Directly manage incident response activities, leading investigations and resolution efforts for operational disruptions. Utilize root cause analysis to mitigate future incidents and enhance operational resilience. Stick to the high standards to meet FTTR and MTTR goals.
- Automation & Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization through automation of routine operations. Implement practices that enhance workflow efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and increase overall productivity in dealing with incidents.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all operational procedures and ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in operations management, with a proven track record in automation of DevOps.
- Proficiency in operational management tools and methodologies, with experience in deployment and change management.
- Mastery of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Be able to write automation scripts and jobs, has strong technical sense and ability to solve issues and provide automation solutions with code.
- In-depth involvement in incident management processes and experience handling critical incidents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, COBIT, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.) are preferred.
