We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analytics Lead - WHOLESALE CDAO - CHINA.

Principal responsibilities

  • Acting as an D&A SME to work with Country representatives to identify current state of data analytics and data management capabilities for South and South East Asia.
  • Identify the challenges and gaps in countries’ operating model including analysing the process and tools used to run MI reporting and monitor data quality.
  • Lead and run reviews on the data sharing and outsourcing policies in countries to propose feasible analytics solutions and capabilities.
  • Review country MI inventories on the list of business-as-usual MI reports and provide ways to simplify and standarise across the sub region.
  • Provide short and long term recommendations to countries on how to improve their capabilities with the use of Global WDAC capabilities.
  • Ensure the data usage in a compliant way adopting the local laws to data for countries, and align with Group Data Policy, Regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of Global analytics solutions by working with global partners to address country pain points and local requirements.
  • Collaborate & influence a wide range of partners / stakeholders from technology, business owners as well as senior management.
  • Drive team development, cultivate innovative environment, and uplift analytics capability through effective application of modern big data, machine learning methodology and visualization tooling.    
    Requirements
    • University degree in data related degrees such as Statistics, Data analytics, Computer Science and/or have a minimum of 10 years banking experience in relevant fields such as data management, data analytics, process simplification.
    • Experience in running multi-country reporting and data quality projects.
    • Experience in handling data sharing, privacy, outsourcing approval process.
    • Strong and effective communication skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders including senior management team.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently and in a team
    • Ability to drive change through well-developed influencing and negotiation skills whilst aligning to business priorities and strategic direction.
    • Self-motivated professional, passionate to drive analytics vision, innovation and transformation for impactful business results.
    • Proven experience in people management.
    • Good understanding of D&A tools and programming languages (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense, and Python).     

    Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
