We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Manager – Chief Operating Officer
Principal responsibilities
- Financial Control - Customer Charges, direct cost, forecasting, accruals, invoicing, and Purchase Orders
- Ensure transparency, monitoring ( monthly dashboard) and reporting progress against plans, quality & costs
- Prepare and follow up on action items from global and regional program calls
- Participate in design of reporting decks and ongoing production ownership
- Provide regular status updates to senior management incl. Global Private Banking
- Resource Management – including headcount tracking, reporting, organised design, and analysis
- Production of useful analysis to enable early warning of issues so decisions can be made
- Ad hoc requests and analysis as required/requested
- The purpose of the Business Manager role is to provide expert support and assistance in providing operational control and value added advice and services.
- Senior stakeholder management, strong project leadership skill with a track record in leading and mobilizing cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong written communication, oral presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent ability to articulate conceptual ideas and strategic directives to a wide range of audience and in particular c-suite executives.
- Good knowledge of banking business, organization and operations
- Committed, self-motivated and action-oriented personality with strong ownership to drive business performance and the success of strategy development and implementation
- Ability to build a trusted-advisor relationship with working partners and senior executives
- The jobholder will be required to support the management of programmed/projects and governance forums, representing his/her team as appropriate
- Understanding of financial reporting aspects and moderate level knowledge of all investment, banking, insurance and credit products offered by Global Private Banking. Knowledge of operational, trading and overall business knowledge would be beneficial.
- Highly professional approach, competent with the ability to work independently and drive forward elements of key Global Private Banking product and service related projects. Exercise any/all delegated authorities with due care and diligence.
