Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and AI Engineer to lead and implement strategies related to Machine Learning, Generative AI, and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and be responsible for ensuring best practices in architecture, security, DevOps, and operations. This role involves leading teams, developing data strategies, and promoting practices such as chaos engineering, infrastructure as code, and automation.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing and implementing data and AI strategies.

• Develop and promote observability practices to monitor and enhance system and application performance.

• Ensure the security of implemented solutions by following industry best practices and standards.

• Design scalable and resilient architectures that meet business needs.

• Implement DevOps and SRE practices to optimize development and operational processes.

• Develop and maintain Chaos Engineering practices to ensure system resilience.

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform.

• Utilize Configuration as Code practices with Ansible and Packer to create immutable images in AWS and GCP.

• Design and optimize Jenkins pipelines to enhance existing solutions, following best practices in continuous integration and delivery.

• Ensure the adoption of development best practices, including the use of containers and APIs.

• Manage on-premise technologies, middleware, operating systems, storage, databases, networks, and load balancers.

• Develop and maintain monitoring and observability solutions to ensure system availability and performance.

• Automate processes using tools such as Ansible to improve operational efficiency.

• Lead application migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments, ensuring adherence to best practices, governance policies, and internal processes.

• Design and lead automation solutions to streamline operations and improve system efficiency.

• Apply Design Thinking methodologies to develop user-centric solutions and drive innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Machine Learning and Generative AI.

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Solid knowledge in observability, security, system architecture, DevOps, and SRE practices.

• Experience leading teams and developing data and AI strategies.

• Knowledge of Chaos Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, Pipeline as Code, and Security as Code practices.

• Familiarity with containers, APIs, on-premise technologies, middleware, operating systems, storage, databases, networks, and load balancers.

• Experience in monitoring, observability, and automation with tools such as Ansible.

• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Jenkins, Splunk, AppDynamics, Docker, Git, among others.

• Strong understanding of AI governance, including ethical considerations, bias mitigation, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Demonstrated experience leading migrations from on-premises to cloud environments, ensuring adherence to best practices, governance policies, and internal processes.

• Proven experience in Generative AI projects.

• Strong Design Thinking skills to develop user-centric solutions and drive innovation.
