We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities:

The role will focus on developing front-end portals for the Data Science Workbench, Wholesale Data Portal, and GDT Owned GenAI sandbox. Responsibilities include optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and developing user interfaces with the latest front-end technologies. The role also involves managing conversations and engagement with team leaders, project managers, and business analysts. Additionally, collaboration with back-end developers and web designers will be required to improve usability and meet product stakeholder requirements.

Requirements

• Lead and guide colleagues in fulfilling architectural and business requirements.
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role.
• Expertise in Java or Python languages.
• Deep understanding of RESTful services.
• Familiarity with front-end languages such as React, and component libraries like Bootstrap, AntD, jQuery, etc.
• Knowledge of SQL databases, specifically Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Experience in SQL optimization is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, G3, etc.
• Ability to write scripts in Groovy for Jenkins pipeline.
• Deep understanding of software development and engineering.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)  and kubernetes is a plus.
