We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
- Working closely with a cross functional development team, collaborating with designers, product managers and developers to ensure our product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and security. Delivering well structured, maintainable, and fully tested systems in time and budget. Working through the development and support phases of project delivery.
- Planning and managing all phases of the quality assurance process to develop and execute test plans, identify and isolate defects, file bug reports, and as well as run regression tests for all releases.
- Collaborating with development and product teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
- Identify documentation, isolate, reproduce, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Manage test data required for the automated test scenarios and support other teams with any test data requirement.
- Develop and provide testing metrics and reports to effectively communicate test status.
- Provide recommendations to the Product Owner and/or other project stakeholders on the product readiness to go live.
- Provide on-going input into the overall process improvement of the Quality Engineering discipline. Mentor Automation Test Engineers within the cross functional team.
- Need to demonstrate problem solving skills by providing suggestive ways and workarounds while at blocker instances to not hamper delivery or timelines.
- Need to close the gaps and work closely with team and measure the improvements. Contribution towards efficiency / Value addition.
- Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
- Critical thinking and passion for testing and quality.
- Solid IT industry experience with significant testing knowledge.
- Solid experiences on automation testing with strong technical knowledge on test automation architecture and BDD related toolkits, e.g. Java, Web driver, Appium, Rest service, jMeter, Python, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience in building and enhancing automation frameworks.
- Rich experience on all-in-one test team management, especially: Function test, Automation test, Security test, Performance test, API test, User experience test.
- Strong understanding on in-sprint automation and agile development methodology.
- Familiar with defect/incident management, have experience in Root Cause Analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
- A highly motivated individual with positive and pro-active attitude.
- Experience in Agile / Scrum test environment procedures and processes.
