We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: CIB - GTS Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, i.e. from project initiation to project delivery and go-to-market plan
  • Responsible for scope control with stakeholders, task execution with the development team, relevant upward communication to managers and completion of specified projects ensuring consistency with project management governance.
  • Ensures creation of project plan and charter benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
  • Ensures financials and resources are baselined properly & monitor commitment.
  • Ensures change control is executed throughout project
  • Build and execute on deployment plan (Go live) and will be required to work on the weekend to manage go live activities
  • Identifies, documents, and understands project dependencies
  • Establishes project communication needs and create project communication plan.
  • Provide necessary feedback to project stakeholders (e.g., specification feedback, issue escalation to managers or scope changes/clarifications to project resources)
  • Manage handoffs at each stage in the project life cycle according to guidelines specified in the department’s development policies
  • Manage to change business and technical requirements by effectively suggesting solutions or contingency plans at the appropriate stage of projects
  • Deliver operational excellence; with the ability to anticipate potential issues and dependencies, highlight project risks
  • Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines 
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of IT work experience and minimum of 5-8 years of IT Project Management experience
  • Strong record of project delivery having managed multiple end-to-end projects of varying size and complexity covering business transformation, organization change as a result of technology change.
  • Strong experience in developing project schedules and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve timely completion of launch deliverables that meet key project milestones.
  • Sharp problem-solving, analytical and innovation skills
  • Desire to work in fast-paced, multi-task, fluid environment capable of reacting instantly to changes in a competitive business environment
  • Be analytical with great attention to detail; ensuring consistent improvement in the quality of our output
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for business users and IT members
  • Proven ability to solve challenging business prioritizes while balance IT delivery
  • Self-directed professional
  • PMP, Scrum Master, Scaled Agile Certification Preferred
  • Ability to work and interact with a globally distributed team
  • Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and generate creative solutions
  • Ability to plan, organize and proctor efficient meetings through preparation, stakeholder buy in, and guide a group towards agreed upon objectives
  • Hands on with any project management tools e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Storyteller, Serena, Microsoft Project, DOOR, HPQC, SharePoint etc.
  • Strong in facilitation, project, change and relationship management 
  • Strong communication and negotiations skills
