Principal responsibilities

 

  • Develop and deliver software functionalities that enhance overall business efficiency and align with IT strategy.
  • Propose and implement solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Create and update technical documentation to ensure clarity and continuity.
  • Oversee multiple development projects, fostering innovation in processes and tools.
  • Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency and free up resources for strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Requirements

  • 6+ Years Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C, C++) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of with IT Service Management and/or ITIL
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Both spoken and written English communication skills with experience of adapting style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered. 
  • Proven results-driven approach with the ability to take initiative, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work under pressure and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and a rapid learning capability. 

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on the ServiceNow platform or Similar product is a plus, particularly with ITSM modules, OOTB functions and customization capabilities.
  • Development experience on APIs and access control.
  • ServiceNow Certification
  • Experience of system testing with a focus on end-user testing and ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases
