We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: GPS Technology
Principal responsibilities
Design and build advanced applications for the mobile platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements
5+ years of development experience in Kotlin or Java and Android native application.
Familiar with design patterns and implement with different coding language, write high-performing, scalable and reusable code.
Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocol, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
Experienced with Dagger/Rxjava/Retrofit, Android platform frameworks and competency with industry standard libraries.
Mastering Android UI development, including custom views, animations, and transitions, have a knowledge of Kotlin Compose.
Familiar with cyber security concepts, app shielding and obfuscation.
Experience with offline storage, concurrency programming and performance tuning, experienced with Kotliln coroutine.
Familiar with Android Unit/UI test, and Accessibility.
Familiar with Android push notification solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, be able to work closely with testing team for trouble-shooting, identifing and resolving production issues.
Proficient in code versioning tools, for example Git, SVN.
Good written and verbal communication skills (English), be able to collaborate in an agile development team.
What additional skills will be good to have?
Google play store publishing experience.
Understand DevOps methodology and build CI/CD pipelines.
App modulization and architecture design experience.
Cross platform development experience (Flutter, React Native, etc.).
Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, Java, Golang, etc.).
Experienced with AI coding tools and familiar with prompting engineering.
