The Corporate Institutional Banking and Chief Operation Officer - Simplification Manager will report to LAM Head of Simplification, and the candidate will have the opportunity to work together with Senior Management in Corporate and Institutional Banking LAM in the improvement of a broad range of processes and activities, as well as to participate on the promotion and implementation of new digital tools. 
The role will be coordinating and leading the end-to-end process mapping across complex environments and silos as a day-to-day activity to establish and embed a framework to identify and facilitate process improvements, enhancing the risk and control environments and delivering material changes in customer experience and operational efficiency.
This will include researching and mapping to best business practices, collating and analyzing non-IT projects, data flows, business controls, providing clear guidance in the developing of recommendations and delivering simplified designs to reduce time, cost, and capacity needs, all previous based on Lean Six Sigma, Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
This position also promotes methodological knowledge and change while helps with the coordination, centralization, and communication the benefits to our main stakeholders regarding all Non-IT Simplification initiatives across LAM, ensuring the governance of the initiatives assigned to the main workstreams in place, and communicating the benefits to our main stakeholders.

•    Drive activities such as data gathering, fact finding, requirements and solution design to improve processes.
•    Establish appropriate monitoring, governance, and maintenance activities.
•    Lead and influence a large group of people, who will not have a formal reporting relationship with the individual.
•    Proven track record of project execution and delivery, and effective stakeholder management.
•    Resourceful - ability to leverage resources globally and cross-functions.
•    Co-ordinate projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholders, and get necessary decisions taken within desired timelines.
•    Ability and willingness to get involved in the analysis activities and documentation. 
•    Disciplined project management professional with demonstrable experience in the management of multiple parallel projects (small – medium) and the application of robust governance standards.
•    Proven ability to prioritize and provide clear direction to team members.
•    Strong analytic and decision-making skills.
•    Communication of benefits and initiatives both verbal and written.

Requirements

•    The role holder should desirably have extensive knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas – Client Services, Credit & Capital Management, Capital Markets, Global Payment Solutions, Global Trade & Receivables Finance, Regulatory Risk & Compliance, Sustainability.
•    Strong program / change / project management skills.
•    Should have delivered projects with medium/high complexity and scope ideally in a large organization spanning many countries and jurisdictions. 
•    Ability to operate well across cultures and in multi-culturally diverse work environments.
•    Excellent inter-personal skills and analytical skills, such as communication within and outside the own team.
•    Keeping calm under pressure is a must, but delivery at pace is required. 
•    Ability to communicate verbal, written and visually, at all levels and across countries/regions/cultures is essential.
•    Analytical & Structured way of working is key for completing deliverables on demand.
•    Lean Six Sigma & Agile Methodology, Management skills and Design Thinking knowledge. 
•    Intermediate English is essential.
•    Must be a team player and able to lead and influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
•    Highly energetic and delivery focused, with the ability to deliver quality results with a challenging but positive and influential style.
•    Flexible approach and the ability to handle a varied portfolio of initiatives and a high workload.
