We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Cybersecurity Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

This role requires a versatile Cybersecurity professional with a focus on the two key areas below:

Regulatory and Government Leadership

  • Work with the CISO, Governance, Risk and Control (GRC), CIO Office and cross-function IT teams to keep abreast of regulatory requirements, impacts to the Hong Kong market as a whole and to develop and lead the approaches which may need to be deployed internally across the organisation with a wider lens and understanding than simply just the Cybersecurity team
  • Provide guidance and ensure country regulatory requirements related to Cybersecurity are addressed in a timely fashion to implement relevant controls and to develop/amend policies/standards to comply with the requirements and monitor the progress of implementation
  • Develop the approach for responding to industry consultations and emerging regulatory developments; this may include preparing for and/or conducting communications with HK Government departments and/or external industry associations

Market Governance and Consultancy

  • Support the Hong Kong CISO in programmes that are core for Hong Kong and support when the CISO is unavailable
  • Collaborate with the Global, Regional and Market stakeholders including Technology and other peers to implement the team's goals within entity policy, expense and regulatory constraints
  • Lead and support peers in developing, implementing and monitoring a strategic, comprehensive enterprise cyber security management program including risk management and governance forums
  • Support business for Market-specific initiatives and regulatory requirements relate to Cybersecurity via relevant teams such as cybersecurity delivery, consultancy and country augmentation teams when required
  • Keeping abreast of developing Cybersecurity threats and helping the country stakeholders including understand the Bank's Cybersecurity posture and awareness of the threat landscape and events impacting the industry
  • Assist in Governance related matters, ensuring consistency with Global/Regional key messaging and exercising formal governance through appropriate governance forums
  • Assist and step up to help with regional market management matters as required
Requirements
  • Degree in business administration or a technology-related field required
  • Professional security management certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC etc) and wide knowledge across Cyber disciplines and IT
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combination of risk management, cyber security and/or IT job roles
  • Experience understanding and evaluating regulatory requirements and working with Hong Kong regulators/government departments
  • Experience working with industry associations or internally to develop a position and articulate the position to/influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Leadership ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence
