We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Develop Splunk apps, dashboards, and reports, and build advanced visualizations to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners to understand visualization requirements and objectives. Onboard new data sources into Splunk, analyse data for anomalies and trends, and create dashboards highlighting key insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk configuration, data ingestion, and search performance.
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using PySpark and Python.
- Establish best practices for data engineering and ensure team adherence.
- Perform code testing and conduct reviews with team members to ensure high-quality, efficient, and well-tuned code.
- Design and implement data-driven solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and CI/CD pipelines, optimizing data integration processes for accuracy and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Splunk Developer or in a similar Splunk-focused role.
- Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) for creating complex search queries and reports.
- Strong experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing solutions, and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT frameworks for complex data warehouses.
- Proficiency in programming with Python and Shell Scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Deep understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Apache) and solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, operating systems, and security principles.
- Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible Automation, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
