We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will: 

·         The ability to gather / analyze the business and operational requirements. Work with the relevant stakeholders in business / operation / IT to figure out the appropriate solutions

·         Provides engineering expertise in a specialist technology engineering area which may include but is not limited to security, data, AI, cloud, etc.

·         Support platforms specific to a business area that requires specialist technology engineering expertise; and /or a product or service within a technology engineering specialism.

• Document end-to-end solution designs and ensure compliance to all relevant HSBC Architecture standards including HSBC technology strategies, architecture standards, policies and principles etc.
• Bring expertise in the fields of various architecture domains such as application, infrastructure, data and security etc.
• Help ITSO and IT PM through all relevant IT and Business governance processes if required.
• Provide end-to-end ownership of security or data solutions delivered to meet requirements, delivering the architecture required to realize both functional and non-functional capabilities that aligns to the overall architecture.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 8 years’ IT working experience including at least 5 years on solution design and delivering, preferably in a global environment with strong banking system knowledges.
• Systematic application of engineering approaches to the development, operation, maintenance of systems and platforms to ensure service resilience, sustainability and SLA are met.
• Solid knowledge of architectural concepts, principles and best practices. - Self awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development and engineering.
• Experience with API and application security design such as Identity authentication and authorization, Access control, Attack protection, Transmission and data security, traffic rate limiting, SIEM/SOAR etc.
• Detailed understanding of Network security, data security controls and best practices.
• Cross domain knowledge, such as big data, AI, cloud engineering especially on Alicloud will be considered as a plus.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) in both Mandarin and English.
• Strong skills of summarization, presentation, negotiation and influencing.
• Role relevant qualifications, (CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc) will be advantage.
