We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
Manage GCP infrastructure using best practices, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and other services. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, enforce security measures, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Specialize DevOps skillset to help achieve TRCB goals and build devops pipeline for applications.
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources
Develop, maintain, and optimize Python scripts for automation, ensuring seamless integration into workflows. Debug and enhance existing scripts for improved performance
Automate CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps Product/Service team, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Apply knowledge of Incident and Change Management processes to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Work in a fast-paced environment providing customized tooling solutions across platforms, embrace teamwork, and provide weekend support as needed.
Good understanding or distributed applications, HTTP, Server and REST APIs
Good working experience in Linux environments and commands
Experience with agile development tools like GIT, Confluent and JIRA
Ability to quickly learn new skills and tools
Ability to troubleshoot application issues in timely manner
Establish, document and implement the best practices in the end-to-end application initiation and deployment processes.
Review and be reviewed by your peers
Experience with production deployment
Experience supporting live production application and incident troubleshooting
Experience of supporting with incident triage tasks.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, specializing in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform IaaS services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, VPC, DNS, CDN, FileStore and other related technologies.
Knowledge on design patterns for GCP third party tools setup and native tools usage
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
Skilled in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or similar for automating tasks and optimizing cloud resource management.
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues independently, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with reporting platforms like Qlik Sense and NPrinting.
Should have experience working in agile and devops environment using team collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA.
Hands-on experience in automating CI/CD pipelines and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt rapidly.
