International Wealth & Premier Banking (IWPB) serves more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. To support IWPB strategies to drive seamless end-to-end digitalization, the Digital Product Manager role is primarily responsible for building the strategy and developing digital platforms covering Mobile, Internet Banking and Staff Platforms.   You will be a key member of Digital Product and Platform team and reporting to the Senior Digital Product Manager for Platforms.   

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible as a Digital Product Manager for Digital Platforms covering Mobile, Internet Banking and Staff Platforms
  • Drive Digital features and functions in the market ensuring alignment with our Global Value streams to build and deploy new Digital Platforms
  • Lead the Security as a Service value stream, ensuring seamless integration of security features while managing the strategy and roadmap
  • Drive the delivery and continuous improvement of secure mobile & digital experiences, including oversight of biometric authentication features such as facial recognition
  • Champion customer-centric security design whilst balancing risk and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with the Mobile release team to ensure timely and high quality app deployments
  • Creation of robust business cases to support new initiatives across the Digital Platforms.
  • Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to drive implementation and operationalization. Collaborate with scale Agile teams and IT partners to refine and prioritize product and platform delivery.  
  • Ensure regular and positive engagement with key support functions such as Risk Stewards, Compliance, Operations and Technology to ensure alignment of policies and plans necessary to deliver a demanding transformation benefit targets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience within Digital Product Management or a similar role
  • Strong subject matter expertise of digital technology, including technical, commercial and customer considerations
  • Strong experience in agile practices and methodologies, with experience in a scale agile environment 
    Keen understanding of products, services and underlying processes to fulfil.
  • Strong commercial orientation, track record of balancing risks versus rewards and maximizing the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business.
  • Basic understanding of HSBC core systems and integrations is preferred
  • Deep and wide subject matter expertise of digital platforms in Banking is preferred

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
