We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of ET Finance Head for LAM, This role is accountable to the Business and Global Functions CIO (GB/GF) and the Regional CIO for ensuring the effective delivery of IT services in the region. This role maintains the closest relationship with the business at the regional level, acting as a trusted advisor and providing advice and support to the regional business unit of GB/GF, the Regional CIO, and the COO of GB/GF with the aim of defining and ensuring the GB/GF Technology portfolio and IT service.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for defining, implementing, and ensuring the sustainability of applications/solutions and projects in the LAM Finance area. Managing the project portfolio, ensuring contribution to business transformation, growth, and operational continuity.
- Ensuring the daily execution of applications in accordance with the standards, controls, and SLAs defined with the business, measuring and communicating the results to enable continuous and stable operation.
- Leading cross-functional teams, directors, and/or external partners, defining work plans, following up according to methodology, feedback, and meetings. Resulting in a multidisciplinary team.
- Building business relationships inside and outside the organization, promoting formal meetings and communication to generate long-term agreements for the area's projects.
- Defining and implementing the roadmap for the LAM Finance area's applications in harmony with other local, regional, and global areas.
- Encouraging the use of technologies in information analysis within the Finance team. Promoting skill development and continuous training processes.
- Supporting the regional CIO when necessary on matters related to pertinent regulations and relations with the regional Board.
- Consulting on the execution of the IT Finance strategy at the regional LAM level.
- Collaborating with other regional leaders at the same level, the IT Finance business unit, and other IT executives to implement IT Finance objectives in the LAM region within the entity's forecasts, policies, expenses, and regulatory constraints in line with budgets, priorities, and Technology strategy.
- Leading and guiding the LAM Finance IT team to meet functional goals in the region and overseeing portfolio delivery within established deadlines, costs, and quality objectives.
- Ensuring the effective identification and prioritization of regional demand in the global LAM IT Finance portfolio.
- Managing the global portfolio to ensure transparency in the global implementation status of LAM IT Finance in the regions or countries.
- Coordinating all regional inputs into the annual planning cycle.
- Managing all LAM IT Finance program portfolios to ensure status reports on timeline, cost, and quality impacts across regions and countries.
- Providing IT transformation for LAM IT Finance and the adoption of Agile and operations development in the region to meet savings targets in partnership with the Finance business unit.
- Ensuring the delivery of key IT Finance LAM change programs.
- Ensuring that products are favorable and respect the state architecture defined at the regional and IT Finance levels.
- Supporting the Regional CIO and the IT Finance CIO in ensuring the delivery of solid and high-quality services in the region.
- Coordinating the regional activities necessary to mitigate service issues.
- Ensuring the performance of the integrated services provided in the region (e.g., service SLA, Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), etc.).
- Providing expert advice or facilitation as required on the status of integrated service delivery or application status for applications under the responsibility of the regional or national CIO.
- Consulting on the status of critical IT incident issues for applications under the responsibility of the regional or national CIO, and providing or facilitating expert advice from broader segments of LAM IT Finance as required.
- Consulting on problem management and root cause analysis for applications under the responsibility of the regional or national CIO, as appropriate, and providing or facilitating expert advice from broader segments of LAM IT Finance as required.
- Managing implementation, risk responsibility, promoting ethical risk management, effectively communicating policy and management changes, and ensuring compliance with the country's regulatory procedures.
- Supporting the regional CIO and IT Finance CIO in managing direct IT costs and charges to the regional LAM Finance business unit.
- Ensuring the delivery of LAM IT Finance services and development operations teams.
- Managing the regional allocation of the global budget across the regions for all programs.
- Supporting the LAM Finance COO in managing IT spending in the region (within the LAM IT Finance budget and the regional budget).
