We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Tech SME
- Collaborate with engineering leads, POD leads, Principal Engineers & Architects.
- Active participation in improving engineering excellence metrics for AFRT VSATT i.e., Release Cadency, LTTD, MTTR, TPAM count etc.
- Work with POD leads/engineers, guide/help them in removing technical blockers related to standard CI/CD adoption, test automations
- Collaborate with other GBGF IT teams, share the best engineering patterns/practices with AFRT VSATT PODs.
- Work with service excellence/Delivery excellence etc. helping them with our engineering skills to improve KCIs where possible
- Work with POD leads/engineers in adopting GitHub CoPilot where possible
- Provide technical consultancy, collaborate with engineering leads where required.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- 8+ years of programming/coding experience Java/.NET/Python
- 6+ years of experience in DB programming - SQL Server/Oracle/Mongo etc.
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud technology - GCP/AWS/Azure & at least one Cloud certification is desirable [Arch/Data engineer/Machine learning]
- Working experience with CI/CD process automation & using DevOps tools e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, G3 etc.
- Good knowledge of - Machine Learning/AI/GenAI
- Strong stakeholder management skills - need to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in Application production support, troubleshoot skills [Data/Application related], Incident & problem management.
