We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

 Financial Reporting Analyst

Role purpose:

The role holder will be responsible for processing, analyzing and validating financial and management data for liquidity reporting. And need to have good knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM), regulatory reporting and the relevant changes in a global environment would be an added advantage.

Main activities: 

  • The role is responsible for timely submission of accurate and GL-reconciled liquidity and funding reporting to key stakeholders and / regulators.
  • Communicate to reviewer the analysis and / observation of anomalies on liquidity reporting, before submitting to stakeholders.
  • Support management to provide initial analysis of variances and drivers primarily to Partnering & Insight, Modelling and Governance & Control.
  • Respond to regular and ad hoc data and report requests from key finance and non-finance customers.
  • Ensure all work undertaken complies with HSBC policies, procedures and work practices.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Work effectively in a collaborative, team environment with change teams, and other finance and risk management professionals.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo, be proactive and innovative in driving change.
Requirements
  • Advanced English | 1 - 3 years of experience.
  • Good understanding of Macros in VBA (Excel).
  • Programming Languages (Python, SAS or SQL). 
  • Academic backgorund on Actuary, Economy or Finance.
