We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an GPS Product Manager

Areas and Accountabilities:
  • Drive the development and the achievement of the product performance objectives and the development of product and project plans to support the execution of the approved product strategies in HSBC Vietnam 
  • Responsible for the profitability of the covered products and services and for developing and managing the Products to ensure that they meet market needs and contribute towards the overall GPS objectives.
  • Work with front line teams to design and develop solution for client needs and industry trends.
  • Help negotiate the terms of large commercial agreements, both internally and with clients, close sales, and process contracts
  • Drive growth and monitor on-going performance of Payment products.
  • Develop and implement new ways of working with key clients, partners and vendors for longer term partnerships.
  • Understand market trends and the likely impact on revenue streams.
  • Develop and drive specific commercialization activities including but not limited to creating tools to support sales and client service teams in educating and marketing our Payment product capabilities.
  • The jobholder is required to be familiar and to operate within the Product Governance framework, have a strong commercial and business management approach, be able to maintain close relationships with the product managers as well as GPS Client Management and Sales and partner functions to execute the development and deployment of new functionality.
  • The jobholder is also responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction for assigned products and work with Commercialization, Sales, RM and CS to develop a healthy pipeline for products under commercialization.
  • Drive Information Technology (IT) Investment requirements during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) planning process for the products/solution under his/her coverage. 
Information
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with professional background in IT, banking and finance 
  • Ability to apply an entrepreneurial mindset in driving the commercialization of the assigned products
  • A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
  • Solid expertise in cash management and specifically exposure to Payments is desirable
  • Proven introduction of innovation and track record of managing complex project developments and launches
  • Knowledge and experience of provision of guidelines and training to stakeholders
  • Having regulatory and risk management skills with a proven track record of driving sustainable growth.
  • Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales and quality of output.  
  • An ability to appreciate the application of technology in relation to operations and to understand, innovate and transform the underlying payments systems and eChannel platforms supporting GPS products.
