Your career opportunity
Frontend Engineer job is responsible for providing engineering expertise in an engineering area which may include, but is not limited to, data engineering, security engineering, front-end engineering, and user experience engineering.
They may be responsible for supporting platforms specific to a HSBC business area that requires specialist Technology engineering expertise; provide subject matter expertise to one or more technology teams on the area of their Technology engineering specialism.

What you’ll do
Work on internal tooling used by CTO.
Responsible for delivering various UI and UX project tasks.
Help demonstrate quality delivery, to industry best standards acting as a mentor to others in the team.
Drive new features, but thinking about how the customer would use the software.
Working within multi-site teams to create and own products.
Contribute to internal documentation, standards, and best practices for CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and execute a multi- year DevOps strategy.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
Relevant work experience of Angular Frameworks Angular 2+ v18, Databases and Testing methodologies.
Very working experience and expertise of other frontend tooling such as React.
Very strong expertise on UI technologies JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, ES6, TypeScript-based framework.
Experience of writing SQL queries with knowledge do SQL tuning and migrations.
Very good understanding of architecture and design patterns used for Web Application Framework and Behaviour Driven Development, Test Driven Development approach.
Some experience with full stack concepts with node.js.
Strong hands-on working experience with rapid prototyping and expertise of UX from a customer standpoint.
Exposure / Knowledge of Agile/DevOps environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken) – comfortable with detail. Previous experience working in a financial services or other large, regulated enterprise business.
