We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Lead Full Stack Engineer to oversee end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of our mission-critical Load Balance Manager application. 
The Load Balance Manager is a key Connectivity API within our network infrastructure. It enables seamless integration with multiple platforms and allows site traffic switching to support maintenance and high availability. 

The Lead Full Stack Engineer role combines hands-on, full stack software engineering with leadership responsibilities to ensure technical excellence, operational stability and continuous improvement of the Load Balancing application.

You will lead a small, high-performing team of developers and testers, working closely with a Scrum Master, F5 Product Owner, stakeholders and customers across the organisation.


What you’ll do
    • Act as the Technical Lead for the development team which own, develop and maintain the Load Balancing application (LBM). 
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with the F5 Product Owner, the LBM application users and stakeholders to ensure the product we build meets the customers’ and stakeholders’ requirements.
    • Define the product vision, roadmap and the backlog for the LBM application.
    • Lead on and provide direction for modernisation and optimisation of the application architecture.
    • Act as a point of escalation for critical incidents related to the Load Balance Manager to ensure operational stability 
    • Champion engineering standards, security compliance, and performance best practices.
    • Drive and support improvement initiatives and LBM integration with multiple systems and services, including F5 devices, QIP DNS, Infoblox, Service Now, GitHub, Jenkins, Kong and ODS database.
    • Have ands-on experience with agile methodologies and leading high performing teams.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Solid technical knowledge of API development and CI/CD processes (MERN). We don’t measure experience in years, but you must show that you really know what you are doing.
    • Senior stakeholder management skills. You will interact with hiring managers and department heads on daily basis.
    • Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.
    • Innovative thinking. We don’t settle for mediocracy, and neither should you. You must be able to challenge conventional approach and create new ways of working in dynamically changing world.
    • Highly developed team management skills.
