Your career opportunity
The IAM Technical Business Analyst role sits within the Identity Access Management Technology Product Management Team (TPM) and reports to the TPM Manager. 
HSBC's Identity & Access Management Cybersecurity function is the first line of defence, serves as the focal point in Cybersecurity for access related activities ensuring that HSBC's electronic based assets are monitored, managed, accessed, and protected effectively so that only those people with a legitimate business need can access or modify them, when they need to do so.   
The TPM team are required to support the onboarding of new applications into IAM Group tools and are seeking a technical Business analyst with strong IAM expertise to be able to support the team. The candidate will: 
Lead and support the business in Onboarding of new applications via HSBC’s defined patterns
Manage the relationships between all IAM Technology Functions and the Business to ensure successful Onboarding and a streamlined customer experience.

What you’ll do
Lead the IAM onboarding pod, provide support and guidance when required
Provide management insight for onboarding activities and manage scope
Ensure all applications are Onboarded in line with defined timelines
Ensure all IAM onboarding tool activities are compliant with IDAM controls
Work with IAM Technology Team and HSBCs Strategic Programme Teams to develop clear requirements and have an oversight of development and testing for enhanced capabilities, custom connectors. 
Support with Go Live readiness, service readiness, operational readiness, and associated communications
Gather requirements to onboard applications in IAM systems and enable them with IAM controls & governance policies
Gathering requirements and technical information in support of design/configuration for roles, applications, workflows and other configuration components

What you need to have to succeed in this role
Demonstrable lead technical business analyst experience 
Strong experience within one or more IAM products (Sailpoint IIQ, Service Now, RSA, Delinea and Hashi-corp)
Strong data analytical skills and business acumen
Ability to analyse data and produce detailed management MI (management information)
Demonstrate experience in engaging wider stakeholders at all levels
Engage stakeholders to gather IAM related use cases, and detailed requirements (functional and non-functional)
Market research and vendor analysis
Strong process mapping skills
