Your career opportunity
The role is within the Global Banking area and within the Project which aims to develop and improve deal-capture application enabling the data collection and portfolio management of credit transactions in investment banking area (financing of assets and structured products). Technology is Angular and Java with micro-services. The project addresses 3 key areas in which individual technological solutions are developed and implemented:
- development and automation of appropriate product templates for data entry, workflow for transaction approval and audit,
- integration with accounting and risk management systems in order to automatically source current financial data,
- expansion of reporting tools based on Qliksense technology enabling report generation for HSBC management and regulators.
What you’ll do
- Responsible for delivering various projects, will require excellent leadership skills to ensure the team is engaged, motivated and driven.
- Act as a subject matter expert for junior members of the team and keeping the team members motivated and aligned in their work and ensuring quality delivery.
- Stakeholder Management, Different levels of stakeholders with different expectation levels will need to be managed on an ongoing basis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken) – comfortable with detail.
- Experience of working within multi-site teams, cultivates a collaborative and cooperative attitude across different work cultures.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage own time, ability to work on own or as part of a team.
- Ownership of tasks assigned to ultimate resolution.
- Working knowledge of Source code repository tool GitHub.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Experience in all phases in the Development Life Cycle, very strong working experience and expertise of Java, Micro Services, Java based framework like Spring, Hibernate etc.
- Relevant work experience of in Agile, Java Frameworks, React.
- Working experience of all layers/tiers of the project from Front End development through Back End database design i.e. full stack developer.
- Experience of writing complex SQL queries with knowledge do SQL tuning.
- Strong working experience and expertise of Application Servers like Tomcat.
- Relevant work experience of Angular 2+/ React user interface development.
- Experience with formal release procedures and source control.
- Have fair understanding of Architecture and Design requirements for building Cloud Native Application.
