Global Relationship Manager, HSBC Bank USA N.A., Denver, CO:

 

Serve as the primary risk and global relationship manager for acquiring, retaining and growing Large Corporate and Middle Market Enterprise global commercial banking customer relationships. Responsible for all aspects of risk and relationship management within the business and required to monitor all aspects of risk, including out of order and endorsements, credit control reports, sanctions, and Know Your Client (KYC) and FCC regulatory requirements. Collaborate with global HSBC product partners, relationship managers and work on live-transactions including but not limited to regional cash-management mandates, global trade and receivable finance programs domestically and internationally, foreign exchange trading and risk management, bilateral and syndication facilities, capital markets activity, and acquisition-type transactions via the provision of leveraged finance debt facility. Escalate risks when required to ensure compliance. Build relationship with clients and the Corporate Banking Centre teams by learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide creative solutions. Prospect New-to-Bank clients that have international footprint or have intention to expand their operations internationally, which involves ensuring those prospects fit within the HSBC strategy. Prepare all relevant client-based materials including deal memos, client planning summary, pricing model and credit papers as needed. Expand on existing client’s wallet by analyzing business generated from domestic and international business. Help existing and prospective clients within the portfolio navigate HSBC and coordinate their cross-border business practices. Oversee the day-to-day servicing of client queries to ensure flawless relationship and risk management services are delivered.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40%.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay range: $150,000 to $160,000 per year.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or a related field, and 10 years of experience in commercial banking.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

·         Commercial lending, credit training or equivalent risk experience;

·         Working in an international firm or with international clients; and

·         Managing many stakeholders through a complex decision-making process.

 

Domestic travel required up to 50%. International travel required up to 5%.
